Index/RHEON

RHEON explores the relationship between the body, movement and support. A generative wearable system for the lower limb, shaped around anatomy and the distribution of forces.

THE IDEA

A structure that moves with you.

The knee becomes the central node in a continuous, modular architecture. Rigid structures and flexible connections define different zones around the leg, leaving room for movement and for individual variation.

A QUESTION TO START WITH

What if support could adapt to the body’s changing conditions?

04A visualisation of support in the context of movement.

A computational workflow translates body-specific inputs into variable-density geometry. The project investigates how material and structure can mediate forces, with the aim of connecting rehabilitation and everyday physical activity.
